Looking to give a fresh new look to their web presence, MLSBioDNA approached me to take up the challenge. The brief being to design something professional but accessible to their split customer base in both the private and commercial markets.

Before starting on any design work, a review of the organisation of information was done of the previous web portal. It was quickly evident that a totally new structure would be needed to communicate the wealth of information that MLSBioDNA provided on its wide range of services. Work then began on creating an entirely different navigational system and site-map for the new web portal. Segregating the services in a more comprehending way. Making it easier for visitors to find whichever service that they are looking for, either specifically or by topic.

Working closely with MLSBioDNA, the content was also reviewed. Making sure that the material, both written and visual, was relevant and put each service in context for the viewer.

Once the navigation and content was ready. Design of the interface began, and a smart but friendly look was soon achieved. Putting MLSBioDNA into a new spotlight. Properly reflecting the professional and accessible nature of their services and brand.

Upon approval of the interface, development went ahead. Turning the design into a functional and interactive experience. Always allowing for improvement of the design or navigation if sighted along the way.
